Saturday Not-The-Hoddle open thread

Happy Saturday, Cartilage Free Captain readers.

This isn’t the Hoddle. Of course it isn’t the Hoddle, the Hoddle is written by Jake and only runs Monday through Friday. Today’s Saturday. Why would we have a Hoddle on Saturday?

However, there’s a lot going on in Tottenham Hotspur-land, what with one of the longest tenured Spurs players being sold to a direct rival for a world record fee for a defender, and the possibility of Spurs perhaps finally starting to make some noise in the transfer window.

Also, I got bootstrapped into helping out at my kids’ home swim meet all day today AND Sunday, meaning I won’t be around much this weekend. Y’all need a place to talk about stuff, and this is it.

So feel free and use this as a general open thread, but remember, this isn’t the Hoddle. A Saturday Hoddle would probably rip a hole in the space-time continuum or something, I dunno. Let’s not risk it.
