Cartilage Free Captain doesn’t have anyone in Orlando covering Saturday’s match against Paris Saint-Germain, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get a sneak peak into what happened during today’s open training. Tottenham beat journalist Ben Pearce was on hand in the Florida heat at the ESPN Complex in Kissimmee to watch Spurs train and uploaded a couple of videos to Periscope.
The video quality is a little grainy and there’s nothing too insightful here: just a number of players going through a movement and passing drill including Eric Dier, Vincent Janssen, Victor Wanyama, Josh Onomah, and Mousa Dembele. You also get a glimpse of Harry Kane and Harry Winks, among others.
Pearce also Periscoped a couple of longer clips of Spurs actually scrimmaging against each other. Individual players are difficult to pick out, but there’s a lot of high press going on as well as practice on transitioning from attack to defense.
UPDATE: Pearce went live on Yahoo UK’s Facebook page after the training to show his thoughts on what he saw.
