Last week, we put up a survey and had members of the Cartilage Free Captain community vote on what they think the Premier League table will look at the end of the 2017-18 season. We thought it was only fair after we subjected you to our (totally correct) masthead opinion.
I’ve gotten numerous requests for survey results the past few days but I wanted to wait to make sure everyone had a chance to vote. Well, you voted. 1,205 entries, to be precise, 25% more than last year. And here are your collective results.

But thanks to Qualtrics I don’t just get a table that I can plop into an article. I also get DATA. Let’s take a deeper look at how you voted.
This is definitely a Tottenham Hotspur fan blog.

Of all our survey respondents, 78% predicted Tottenham would qualify for the Champions League again in 2018-19, and nearly one in five said we’d win the title. The optimism is staggering. It’s almost like you’ve managed to scrub the past month out of your brain entirely — seriously impressive. But hey, I’m not going to make fun. We as a masthead have never predicted Spurs finish higher than fourth place. What do we know?
Also, two of you chuckleheads voted Spurs in 20th place. Hands up, who’s the Gooner?
The Manchesters are super scary.

Manchester City got by far the highest percentage of votes for top of the league, and it’s no wonder. We saw them play first hand, and they scared the pee out of us. Manchester United didn’t get voted #1 very frequently, but most people seem to think they’ll finish in the top four.
Did I mention this is a Tottenham Hotspur fan blog?

Also, see that green bar at the end? That’s 20th place. Nineteen of you. Take a friggin’ bow.
Here are your relegation candidates.

I mean, I don’t think there’s anything too unusual going on here. In fact, these are the three teams I personally had going down as well. So bravo, collective hive mind, you’re as smart as me!
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Seriously, y’all have absolutely no idea. (That’s okay, neither do I.)
