It was official before, but now it’s OFFICIALLY official! Tottenham Hotspur confirmed the final transfer of Davinson Sanchez from Ajax on it social media channels and on the website. Here is your obligatory tweet with a photo of Davinson holding the shirt.

The club also announced that Sanchez would wear the number 6 shirt. He will be the first player to wear #6 since the departure of Nabil Bentaleb. Other players to wear the #6 shirt include Vlad Chiriches, Tom Huddlestone, Teemu Tainio, Gary Mabbutt, and Steve Perryman.
Sanchez is Tottenham’s record signing, with a transfer deal that could reach as high as £42m if he meets his contract incentives. A pacy central defender, Sanchez is technically skilled and has the ability to play long balls out of the back. He can also play right back. He was named Ajax’s Player of the Season last year.
Welcome to Tottenham Hotspur, Davinson!
