It’s been quite for a couple of hours with regards to the Fernando Llorente situation, but apparently there’s a reason for that: Swansea aren’t willing to let him go until they’re sure that Llorente’s replacement is signed, sealed, and delivered. That replacement is apparently Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony.
Wilfried Bony is on his way Swansea fans.

Bony having a medical at Swansea is good news if you’re excited for Llorente to come to Spurs, but it does mean that if something were to go south with Bony that deal could still collapse pretty quickly. This would be Bony’s second stint at Swansea; he spent two years in Wales from 2013-2015 before City snapped him up. He spent the season on loan at Stoke last year.
Llorente has apparently already completed his Tottenham medical and we’re waiting for the dominos to fall. So pending any last-second Willian-ing from Chelsea, start watching the Swansea rumors closely. And don’t move! (Unless you hate Llorente to Spurs, then feel free to move, whatever)
