You’ve got to be kidding. The opening to the Champions League couldn’t have gotten off to a more exciting start for Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund. Within 15 minutes of the opening whistle blowing, we’ve seen three truly world-class goals. Heung-Min Son got it started with a stunning solo goal before Andriy Yarmolenko responded with a gorgeous left-footed curler from outside of the box.
However, just a few minutes later and Harry Kane has restored Spurs’ lead with another amazing solo goal that didn’t look too dissimilar from Son’s. Cutting in from the left flank, he cut onto his left foot and smashed a shot in from a tight angle for a great goal. This match has all the makings of a classic so far.
Update: He’s scored again to make it 3-1 in the second half! What a finish!
