Tottenham Hotspur have pulled ahead of West Ham United in the first half of what has been a tightly contested affair. Harry Kane has put Spurs in front with his third goal of the Premier League season by finishing off a deadly counterattacking move with a lovely taken header.
After an Andy Carroll errant pass found Christian Eriksen, the Danish international played a magnificent throughball into Dele Alli on the right flank, who in-turn played an even better cross to the head of Kane for the first goal of the match.
Just a few minutes later, Kane had another in the net after a poor West Ham defensive break down. Alli had the initial chance saved by Joe Hart, but the rebound fell kindly to Kane to put into the gaping net to make it 2-0.
