We’re still waiting on news about Lucas Moura’s transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, but in the meantime we have other transfer news. Young Tottenham midfielder Luke Amos has signed a contract extension with Spurs through 2019, and is heading out on loan to League 2 Stevenage for the rest of the season.
Midfielder @Luke_Amos1 has signed a new contract with the Club until 2019 and has joined @StevenageFC on loan for the remainder of the 2017-18 season.

Good luck, Luke! pic.twitter.com/9iuP6cfPbT
Amos, 20, has been a fixture on Spurs’ U23 side in the Premier League 2, and has seemingly been hanging out on the fringes of the first team as well. He was on the bench for Tottenham’s 3-0 Champions League win over APOEL at Wembley and got some minutes in the preseason games in USA as well, if I remember correctly, but he has yet to make his Spurs first team debut.
Last season Luke spent the spring on loan with Southend in League One, but only played in three games. Now he’s dropped a division and landed at a mid-table Stevenage side, but hopefully will be able to make a significant contribution and start getting some meaningful match minutes. Maybe he can dislodge Gary Rootbeer for a spot in the starting lineup.
Good luck, Luke!
