According to a French football television program, Lucas Moura is a Tottenham Hotspur player. Telefoot tweeted and posted today that the Brazilian winger has signed a four year deal after completing a medical at Tottenham’s Hotspur Way training center on Monday, and has already met his new teammates.

But hold your horses, because they’re the only notable media outlet that has said that it’s done and dusted. In fact, earlier journalist Paul Brown suggested that there were still some final details in Lucas’ wages that needed to be ironed out and the deal wouldn’t be done until tomorrow.
#thfc not expecting to complete £25m signing of Lucas Moura today. Had medical but deal not done yet. Hoping to finalise tomorrow

So we still don’t know! Isn’t the transfer window deadline fun? Still, I think it’s pretty safe to assume that this transfer IS going to happen now. With Chelsea apparently distracted by the possibility of signing Olivier Giroud and Arsenal on the verge of signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, I hereby give you permission to shift position slightly until the official announcement comes in from Tottenham’s twitter account.
