Finally, we can say it: Tottenham Hotspur have signed Lucas Moura! The Brazilian, signed in a £25m deal from Paris St-Germain, is the first January signing at Spurs since they signed Dele Alli (and loaned him back to MK Dons) in January of 2015.
We are delighted to announce the signing of @LucasMoura7 from Paris Saint-Germain!

Lucas will wear squad number 27 on his kit, which is a bit of an unusual selection. He wore the #7 shirt at PSG, but he obviously can’t have that one, since that’s Son Heung-Min’s number.
The #27 shirt doesn’t have an especially illustrious history at Tottenham. Previous wearers include Kevin Wimmer (2015-18), Iago Falque (2012-13), Ben Alnwick (2008-11), Calum Davenport (2005-07), Rohan Rickets (2003-05), Mark Gower (1999-2000), Andy Sinton (1995-1997), and Stephen Carr (1993-95).
Not exactly a list chock full of Tottenham Hotspur luminaries, but this just means that Lucas can take that number and make it his own.
Who’s getting a kit?
