Hey, it’s Sunday! Tottenham Hotspur got the gritty 1-0 win over Crystal Palace yesterday and we all can relax knowing that no matter what happens in today’s matches Spurs will still be in fourth place. A little help from Fulham and Everton today would also mean that Spurs might end the day also tied for second.
But the real peach of the Sunday matches is, of course, the Manchester Derby. City look like an unstoppable juggernaut, but that’s only because nobody’s actually stopped them. Meanwhile, Manchester United appear to have passed the crisis conch (to borrow a phrase from the Double Pivot pod) down to another club, possibly Fulham or Crystal Palace, and if they can snatch a result against Pep’s boys, then baby we got a title race stew goin’!
Here’s your open thread for the Sunday matches.
