Just when you thought that Spurs were coming out of that injury crisis, they’re getting sucked right back into it. Ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s trip to Wolverhampton on Saturday for a Premier League match, Spurs released their team news, and it looks as though they will be without both Eric Dier and now Victor Wanyama.
#thfc Eric Dier (thigh) and Danny Rose (groin) are both unlikely to return before the international break and Victor Wanyama's out now too, after picking up a knee injury (left knee) against West Ham. Just when the injury list was easing up. Vertonghen out too of course.

Ironically, Dier was one of the few World Cup Spurs stars who had not yet been injured already this season, and we thought maybe we dodged that bullet. Welp. Victor Wanyama, meanwhile, had only just returned to full fitness from an injury of his own, only to re-injure himself on Wednesday in the Carabao Cup match against West Ham.
This obviously has implications, which we’ll get to in another article, on Spurs’ lineup, not only for tomorrow’s match at Molineux but also Tuesday’s must-win Champions League match against PSV at Wembley.
Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen remain on the long-term injury list and nobody’s quite sure when we’ll see them on the pitch again.
This is fine. I am okay with the events that are unfolding currently.
