Son Heung-Min is no stranger to scoring world class goals.
Since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, Sonny has delighted Spurs fans everywhere with some breathtaking strikes. His YouTube goal compilations are worth a watch because they’re filled with a remarkable amount of quality finishes.
On Friday, one of his latest efforts was recognized as the Premier League Goal of the Month for November. It was his brilliant solo goal from the 3-1 victory against Chelsea on the 24th.

Son’s goal was the third for Tottenham on a night when they completely dominated their rivals from West London. Wembley erupted as Son wheeled away from the net flashing the legendary smile we have all come to know and love.
Watching this goal at least once a day is good for the soul, so here it is again.

It was Sonny’s first goal of the Premier League season after he started the campaign a bit tired due to South Korea’s participation in the Asian Games in Indonesia. His hot form has since continued. The 26-year-old has scored in each of Spurs’ last two PL games, including a beautiful curling effort against Leicester last weekend.
Similar curlers have sort-of become Son’s specialty. He doesn’t really have a weak foot, so he can guide them in with either his left or his right boot.
But the goal against Chelsea reminded everyone just how insanely quick Sonny is as well. It was such a wonderful moment partially because of how embarrassing it was for Jorginho and David Luiz. Both players probably should’ve retired to save face after being left in the dust by Son.
The defending on the goal spawned quite a few memes, but I think this one is my favorite:

Spurs’ South Korean star beat out some decent competition to win the award. Junior Hoilett can probably feel the most aggrieved for not winning. He scored a curler against Wolves that Son would’ve been proud of.
But the award went to our man Sonny. And you would have to say that it’s a safe bet he will win it again before long. He can’t stop scoring great goals for Tottenham Hotspur.
