Mousa Dembele is once again being linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur, and it may come as soon as the first day of the new year.
Per Lilywhite Rose, Dembele might next play for Chinese Super League side Beijing Sinobo Guoan. The club finished fourth in the 2018 season, and is currently coached by former Bayer Leverkusen manager Roger Schmidt.

They are willing to pay him close to £200,000 per week.

This deal would give Dembele the pay raise he’s reportedly been looking for, and this particular payment would be quite an increase from his current £80,000 a week salary at Tottenham. Additionally, it would mean that Dembele would not leave on a free in the summer, as has been frequently rumored since the World Cup. Spurs paid £15 million for Dembele in the summer of 2012.
Though Spurs would not necessarily make a profit on Dembele, it ultimately might be a good deal for all parties involved. Dembele gets the money he wants, Tottenham gets a nice sum of change for a talented but injury prone 31-year-old, and Beijing get a stellar midfielder out of the deal. For Tottenham and Dembele specifically, this might be as good as they can get.
