Team news is out, and hey look, it’s more bad news! Tottenham Hotspur released their injury report ahead of their trip to Leicester City on Saturday, and you can now add an additional name to the list of the wounded: Juan Foyth. The young central defender picked up a hamstring injury somewhere between Wednesday’s win over Southampton and now, and joins fellow defender Davinson Sanchez on the physio’s table.
That makes six players who are confirmed out versus the Foxes: Foyth & Sanchez, Victor Wanyama, Mousa Dembele, Erik Lamela, and Kieran Trippier, who re-injured his groin against the Saints and had to be subbed off in the second half.

You’d almost think that there’s a crisis in Tottenham’s defensive line, except that Jan Vertonghen is back after serving his one-match suspension. So that’s the good news — despite Spurs having two central defenders out, they’ll still go into this match with their first choice pairing of Janby Alderweirtonghen.
Rotation will continue to be important to Mauricio Pochettino as he tries to manage his squad in the upcoming weeks. There are a LOT of fixtures upcoming, most critically next Tuesday’s Champions League match against Barcelona at Camp Nou. That means nobody’s quite sure how Poch will set up his team against Leicester.
Except Harry Kane. We know Harry Kane is going to start.
