Mark your calendars, because the date of Tottenham’s match against Crystal Palace has been moved up a day. Originally scheduled for this coming Monday, February 26, Spurs will instead travel to Selhurst Park a day early in order to make room for Spurs’ FA Cup replay against Rochdale at Wembley Stadium.

This will allow the FA Cup replay to take place on Wednesday, February 28, with kick-off time at 3:05 p.m.
Nobody really wants another match in what is already a crowded fixture calendar, but Spurs are still in a major domestic cup competition, and that’s good. This match falls in between the trip to Palace and a home match against Huddersfield, with Juventus on Wednesday the following week.
That could potentially be tricky for rotation purposes if Spurs want to keep their best players fresh. However, if the replay goes the way it did against Newport County in the fourth round, it means that Spurs will likely be able to do some modest rotation and still be heavy favorites vs. Rochdale. And, if we use the past stretch of games as evidence, a few players like Harry Kane just might play all the games anyway.
