The Hoddle of Coffee: Tottenham Hotspur News and Links for Friday, February 2

I have too many questions.

Hello, Hoddlers!

Happy Friday! I have a question for you all in the ramble.

Ramble of the Day

Yesterday, the thought randomly popped in my head: Do famous people know how to fully use computers and the internet?

Let me explain. When I say “famous people,” I am talking about people who are famous for things that do not require using computers, such as footballers, actors, or members of royalty. As for fully using computers and the internet, I mean more than just checking social media and emails and watching Netflix.

More specifically, I question whether or not they know about the Microsoft Suite. Do they know what Word documents are, or even what Google docs is? Have they ever heard of PowerPoint? Do they pay bills online? Do they even do a lot of research before buying laptops and such things? (Probably not.)

This question, now that I think about it, could be extended into other areas. I wonder whether or not these people know how to use vacuums. (In the case of those born into royalty, the answer is most likely no.) How long, genuinely, could you have a conversation with one of these people before they asked you to explain something mundane to you, like going to the post office?

I think I will leave it there, considering this is seemingly endless.

Now, for some links.

Links of the Day

Riyad Mahrez has skipped Leicester training again yesterday after that move to Manchester City did not pan out.

PSV Eindhoven had cameras ready to greet Lumor Agbenyenu only to find out he had joined Sporting CP instead.

West Ham have suspended director of player recruitment Tony Henry after he made racist comments about players from Africa.

The day’s longer read: An update on Martin Odegaard, currently on loan at SC Heerenveen from Real Madrid.
