We all know Harry Kane can score goals better than just about anyone in the world currently playing football. However, one thing that goes doesn’t get mentioned as often is his ability to make plays and set up his teammates.
That’s exactly what he did on Son Heung-Min’s second goal of the day against Huddersfield Town. The Premier League’s leading goal scorer played provider to make it 2-0 on the day with an assist that resembles something you’d see from David Beckham in his prime. Check it out:
Collecting possession all the way out on the right flank, the attack appeared to be slowed to a halt until Kane took a touch and whipped a perfect ball around two Huddersfield defenders and right into the path of Son who nodded a great finish into the net for the two-goal lead.
It’s a stark reminder that Harry Kane isn’t just a prolific goal scorer, he can make the amazing pass when needed too. What a player.
