What a great Dane!

Another month, another Tottenham Hotspur player nominated for the EA Sports Player of the Month award. Surprisingly, this time it’s not Harry Kane, Jan Vertonghen, Mousa Dembele, or Dele Alli who gets the nomination — it’s Christian Eriksen!

Eriksen is one of seven nominees along with Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, former Spur (and current West Brom player) Jake Livermore, Everton keeper Jordan Pickford, United’s Paul Pogba, City’s Raheem Sterling, and Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.

Should Eriksen win, it would be the first time that he’s ever won the award in his Premier League career, which just seems absolutely ludicrous to me, but there it is. As always, fan voting is a part of the award process, which means you can mash your mouse on Christian’s face and vote here.

But that’s not all! Eriksen and Dele Alli were also both nominated for Carling Premier League Goal of the Month for April as well for their outstanding goals against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. You can watch all the goal nominations and vote for your favorite (I chose Dele) at the Goal of the Month website.
