There is no love on earth like the love between an Argentine professional football manager and his world-class English striker.
Harry Kane revealed that he received special text messages from his Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochetino both before and after his two-goal performance in England’s World Cup win over England, and it’s just the sweetest thing ever.
“Poch texted me, and after as well. He sent a lot of love hearts and said ‘Come on England.’
”He is rooting for me. He is not just my boss; he is my mate. He is the manager, but he is a friend as well.”
D’AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I would love to see this text. Actually, I would love to see Harry Kane’s chat history, because I have a feeling that all of his chants are like this. Simple, direct, lovely. With lots of emoji, and straight-forward expressions of support like “Come on England” and “Make sure you pick up the milk on the way home from training.” Harry loves his people, and his people love him and send him texts with lots of love hearts. It must be great to be Harry Kane.
As for Pochettino, he is already on record saying that he is “in love” with Kane and that his relationship with Harry makes his wife jealous. This is clearly a love that transcends language, continents, and low cross-goal shots into the bottom corner from a half-step of space and a snap turn. I wish Mauricio and Harry all happiness. They are clearly well matched.
