Desserts to occupy me when the World Cup isn’t on.

Hi, everyone!

Those World Cup matches yesterday were wonderful, weren’t they? Too bad they ended. Let me briefly tell you an uninteresting tale about what I watch when I desperately need World Cup, or at least what I did last night.

Ramble of the Day

I have begun lightly binge-watching Zumbo’s Just Desserts on Netflix, a two-year-old Australian baking competition show. I accidentally spoiled myself on the winner while Googling the show, which is unfortunate, but I am still enjoying it. (I am the person who knew how Breaking Bad ended before she started and managed to watch it like a normal person.)

On Zumbo’s, the contestants are essentially only allowed to bake wild things because Adriano Zumbo, the show’s namesake, is known for making somewhat outrageous desserts. I will now proceed to show you examples.

Whoah @ashley.justdessertsau how are you going to keep this upright?!

Of course, the show has amusing contestants, like Daniel, who once said romance was overrated but dessert was not. Zumbo’s, ultimately, does its best of keeping me occupied while I can’t watch the World Cup, and makes for good casual viewing while I’m writing these things.

Let’s get back to the World Cup, though.

tl;dr: Look! Desserts!
