Portugal v Morocco: Group B - 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia
Pictured: the guy who will finish second to Harry Kane in the Golden Boot.

We’ve been in a predictable pattern for the past two weeks in the World Cup: three games a day, at three separate times. That changes starting today. It’s the last round of the group stages, and to prevent collusion between teams, each group plays its final match at the same time. It means that we now have to choose which match we want to watch, which sucks if you’re like me and have watched (almost) every match.

Here’s where it starts to get interesting. In Group A, it’s all done except for the seeding. Uruguay and Russia are going through we just don’t know who wins the group. It’s more interesting in Group B: Portugal and Spain each have four points, but Iran is lurking with 3. Iran could still squeak in with a win or a draw vs. Portugal combined with a Spain win or draw, depending on goal differential. Could get fun!

Any Spurs players involved?

Nope!

How about former Spurs?

Nyet, comrade.

Any transfer targets or rival players I’m probably interested in?

Oh, probably, but I’m tired of listing them, so just figure it out.

What cool things has SB Nation posted recently?

I’m glad you asked!
