Christian Eriksen was sent home from the World Cup yesterday thanks to Luka Modric and Croatia in a match that went all the way to penalty kicks. That’s sad for Christian, but good for Tottenham Hotspur as he gets a nice break before rejoining training and (presumably) signing a new contract.

The first game between Russia and Spain also went to PKs, which meant a lot of football-watching, much of which wasn’t great, Bob. We have two more Round of 16 matches today as well — hopefully they’re a little more exciting.

The games and how to watch:

Any transfer targets or rival players I’m probably interested in?

What cool things has SB Nation posted recently?

I’m glad you asked!
