Another one bites the dust? Today, another former Tottenham Hotspur target has decided to make a move... but not to north London. AS Roma, whom Spurs will play on Wednesday in the International Champions Cup, has reached an agreement with Bordeaux for the transfer of winger Malcom, pending wages.

Spurs were super, duper interested in Malcom LAST summer, to the extent that the club made multiple bids to try to lure him out of Ligue 1, but to no avail.
I suppose you could choose to get righteously angry about “losing” Malcom this summer, but I would advise against it. It sure appears as though Spurs had moved on a while ago, and despite media reports to the contrary there didn’t seem to be a whole lot of interest for the winger this time around.
Everton had reportedly made an inquiry (and some say a bid) but Malcom seemed to have his heart set on Italy. Roma’s a good landing place for him — he gets Champions League football on a really good team that finished a distant third in the Serie A table.
Spurs have yet to make a signing in this transfer window. This is an extremely important reminder, y’know, in case you weren’t aware of this fact.
UPDATE: Well, maybe it’s not Roma after all! Check this out:
Breaking | Bordeaux have received a "much better" offer from an intermediary authorised to negotiate on behalf of Barcelona for Malcom than what AS Roma are offering, according to the reliable @Mth_Adrien.

This still has almost nothing to do with Tottenham Hotspur, but it’s hilarious. Since it’s Barcelona, it might also affect the Willian transfer, meaning Willian might have just gotten Willian’d.
