The Hoddle of Coffee: Tottenham Hotspur news and links for Friday, August 24

The Hoddle’s got that Friday feeling.

Happy Friday, Hoddlers! I must say, while I will be glad to have Pardeep back on Monday with the Return of the Ramble, I’ve quite enjoyed Hoddling for you this week. It has once again reaffirmed my long-held belief that there are far better choices to do this kind of article on a daily basis (like Pardeep!) than me, but hey, at least I got to cram some good songs down your throat while I had you as a semi-attentive audience. Next time I Hoddle, watch out — we’re going ALL CLASSICAL.

Just kidding. OR AM I?

This week’s final Song of the Day comes from GN Punk, who recommended it to me. It’s from the FIFA 2015 soundtrack, which was kind of a banger in general, so a lot of you might remember it. Since I haven’t owned a FIFA game since they stopped making them for PC, I can’t say I knew it before he recommended it to me, but I dig it! Enjoy!

Here are your daily links.

Sure, it’s basically an Audi commercial but I can’t help but enjoy this video of Mauricio Pochettino and Jesus Perez driving to work.

Toronto FC removed the status of the “Inebriatti” supporters’ group after they threw a lit flare onto the pitch in Ottawa and also set their own flags on fire. Can’t believe a group that named itself “Inebriatti” would ever get themselves into trouble...

Spurs don’t play until Monday, which means we’ll all be able to enjoy Jack Wilshere and West Ham go up against Arsenal this weekend.

Not great, Bob? Burnley lost 3-1 at Olympiakos in the opening leg of their Europa League qualifier on Thursday.
