Fan Glossary- To help new and old fans know what's going on in the comment sections

As a young men transitioning to becoming an old men, we (and by we, I mean I) can no longer keep up with things that were once second nature. Whether it be music, fashion, the latest dance, video games, or the latest web craze, we (I) fall further and further behind of the times. One thing, however, I refuse to fall behind on is this blog, Cartilage Free Captain (CFC). I found this blog many, many mangers ago after being invited here from a (once?) great blog, Everyday Should be Saturday. Here, at CFC, I found a home, a neighborhood bar, a friendlier sub-Reddit forum, where my love for Spurs was able to mature and no longer had to be hidden away.

A funny thing happened along the way to today. I got older, got more real word responsibilities, and had less time to hang out with my internet friends. I missed the daily reminders of #NoPolitics, the daily trashing of all things University of Traitor(Mary)land, the off topics discussions about wrestling, and the myriad of other non-Spurs related nerd things this blog allowed me to talk about with like-minded nerds.

I visit here every now and then, just like any old college or hometown bar. The people all aren’t the same but very similar, but the memories are still there. A lot of the old jokes are still here, just under the surface, occasionally popping out. The new "jokes", I don’t get and I hate that. Thus why I am writing to you all. Not to bring that old thing back, but to help old timers like myself and the legions of new Spurs fans that we are about to get. A long time ago, some of the Fore Parents of this blog made a Glossary for new, at the time, fans so that they can be in the know of the jokes. I ask that you, dear readers, help me create or update the CFC fan glossary. The link to the current one is here and here. As you can see, it hasn’t been updated since before Tottenham and Real Madrid’s special partnership. Any new memes, gif that are always rec’d, player nicknames, running jokes (bat and knife is an example), and any other things that makes the comment section the comment section (and why #NoOneReadsTheArticles) please let me know. I hope to one day help the masthead update the glossary and make it a living document.
