It’s over.

It’s over. The English transfer window has closed, Tottenham Hotspur are the first club in the history of the Premier League to not make a single signing in the summer transfer window, free or otherwise. Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy are standing pat with the squad that took them to third place in 2017-18.

That doesn’t mean that there might not yet be some outgoing business — Spurs can still sell players to the continent and elsewhere because most of the other European leagues can still buy and sell players until the end of August. There’s a chance that a few Spurs players like Vincent Janssen, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, Danny Rose, Fernando Llorente, or Mousa Dembele could depart for other clubs before then, either permanently or on loan.

But as far as incoming players, we’re done. So let’s take stock at every move that Tottenham Hotspur made in this summer transfer window. And of course, you can endlessly debate it in the comments, should you so choose.
