You said last year was going to be the last time you bought a FIFA game. You didn’t like the new defending mechanics, you were disappointed at the lack of updates to offline features, and you finally swore off the rage-inducing money-grab that is Ultimate Team.
You said all of that, but you know full well that your will will eventually be broken and you’ll soon be loading that familiar disk into your choice of game console.
When you do buy the game, you’ll at least be happy to see that some Spurs players are so highly rated, including Harry Kane. Kane’s ratings were revealed today, and they’re quite impressive.

Kane has received an overall upgrade from FIFA 18, but his pace has gone down a bit. His playing style often makes people think he is slow, but Harry is deceptively fast. 70 pace might be a little harsh, but apparently EA is making an effort to “nerf” pace across the new edition of the game.
That shooting rating is still very enticing, and this base card opens up plenty of possibilities for boosted special FUT cards when he earns various accolades during the season.
Kane’s 89 overall ability means he is the 17th best player in the game. The highest ranked players have still yet to be revealed, but we do know that Robert Lewandowski is a 90 and is thus far the only striker rated higher than our Harry.
Other Spurs players who have had their ratings revealed include Jan Vertonghen (87), Christian Eriksen (88), and Hugo Lloris (88). It’s nice in particular to see Eriksen get a bump on his stats from last year’s FIFA game.
You can play as all your favorite Spurs players when FIFA 19 releases on September 28th. Just remember, it’s a sin to have an Arsenal player in your Ultimate Team.
