Tottenham Hotspur’s Champions League adventure has gotten off to a rather fortuitous beginning against Inter Milan. Christian Eriksen has opening the scoring at the San Siro less than 10 minutes into the second half. Here’s the amazing wondergoal:

As you can see, it won’t be a goal to be added to any highlight reels any time soon, but it still counts nonetheless. A heavy deflection helped Eriksen’s effort on goal loop over Samir Handanovic for the first goal of the match.
Spurs are on their way to a dream start to the group stage, but there’s still plenty of time left to hold on to the narrow lead.
