A ramble, in a very literal sense.

Hey, everyone!

Let’s do an experimental ramble. (You don’t have to read it.)

Ramble of the Day

It is 9:23p ET, and I do not know what to ramble about. I have started rambles later than that; this week, I started one at 11p. Next to me are tiny cookies and my phone — actually, just the phone. I ate the cookies.

I’m rambling like this because I figured, if I ramble long enough, I might find something interesting. But if I find something interesting, I might have to rewrite this. I don’t really want to rewrite this, because I hardly ever want to rewrite anything on a deadline. Does anyone want to rewrite on a deadline? Of course not. I’ll probably end up rewriting this anyway if I do think of something, even if I don’t want to. I always do. How could I leave you all without a good ramble if I’ve thought of it?

I think I’d like some milk. That isn’t weird; I always want some milk. Maybe that’s weird, but I will defend my love of milk until the end of time. Maybe that’s a food hot take. I think I wanted to ramble about food hot takes once, but I couldn’t think of one at the time. Looks like I thought of one!

I have a glass of milk next to me now, so I suppose I will write about it. To me, milk is best cold. I can’t remember the last time I drank a cup of milk that was warm, unless we’re counting caffeinated beverages. (Even then, it’s been a while since I have recently moved on to drinking my coffee black.) I usually drink it on its own, as a sort of nightcap, and want it more after my mouth has a bit of an ambiguous taste at least an hour after dinner. It can’t really accompany a lot of things, but that’s fine because it’s the perfect nightcap.

I have finished my glass of milk, and my mouth no longer has that ambiguous taste. Additionally, it obviously went well with those cookies. Do I have anything more to add about milk? It’s good for your bones! Okay, I think that’s it about milk and life and rambling for the week.

Should I say have a nice weekend? Would that be polite? Probably. Have a good weekend, all!

tl;dr: An actual free write ramble.
