Happy Saturday, everyone! The Premier League is off this weekend because the scourge of international football is upon us, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t still watch and enjoy post-World Cup football. UEFA, in its infinite wisdom, has created the Nations League, a COMPLETELY SERIOUS INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT, HONEST, to try and make the first few international matches after the World Cup something other than a complete waste of time.
Well, we’ll see about that. There are five Tottenham players called up by Gareth Southgate today: Harry Kane, Eric Dier, Dele Alli, Kieran Trippier, and Danny Rose. Please don’t get injured, English Spurs players.
Here’s your open thread for England’s Nations League match against Spain. The usual match thread rules apply.
