It’s finished! As expected, Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer deadline day deals are of the outgoing variety and not the incoming. Here’s the first of the day: Spurs winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is heading back out on loan, this time to Ligue 1 side Monaco until the end of the season. Spurs announced it officially just a few minutes ago on social media.

Best of luck, GK. pic.twitter.com/x6wJOkZFqa
The bad news for Spurs is that the last we heard this loan does NOT include a mandatory purchase clause, so Spurs will need to hope that he impresses under Monaco new/old manager Leonardo Jardim so they are tempted to buy him outright this summer. Otherwise, it’s another window of trying to offload him to a place that will give Spurs actual money for him.
GKN just never seemed to fit in Spurs roster, and despite putting in a gorgeous cross to Harry Winks in a Premier League last-gasp win over Fulham a couple of weeks ago his game never lived up to the lofty heights of his social media presence. Hopefully he can make a splash in France, something he wasn’t able to do in a loan to Burnley last season.
