It’s over. The January transfer window has slammed shut, so let’s take stock of where we are. Tottenham Hotspur managed to offload a few — but not all — of its dead-wood players, and bid a fond farewell to one of its best midfielders in the past decade. But it didn’t manage to offload Vincent Janssen, and also couldn’t bring in any reinforcements. It has now been exactly a year since Spurs have signed a player.
