Hi, all!
That’s Chloe Morgan at the top today, the team’s back-up goalkeeper. She was part of the team that earned promotion last season, and is in her second stint with Spurs after playing for ... Arsenal in between.
Ramble of the Day
Do you ever just get in the mood to watch a movie? Not a specific movie, or just throwing something vaguely entertaining on your television, but the general feeling of watching a film? It really could just be; I’m genuinely asking.
It could be a movie I’ve seen before, or something new. When I’m in this mood, I want something that sucks me in fully, takes all of my attention for a couple of hours. In this case, I’m more than happy to dedicate my time and full attention to it.
I’m a bit of a film nerd — I can credit/blame that on the one film class I took in college. As a result, I get quite excited when I can sink my teeth into a nicely executed film. At first, the package is just an addicting story, but I spend it enjoying all of the small and big, well-thought details. It’s a very immersive and particular experience. It’s enjoyable, but for all of the work put into it that you can see — it’s not about smoothly enjoying, but about intensely enjoying it.
When I’m in the specific mood of watching a movie, that’s what I mean. I’m ready to watch a relative masterpiece, if not a true one. I can’t force myself to watch movies and television without turning off my brain, truth be told, so might as well go scout things that allow me to keep my brain on and enjoy it.
tl;dr: I really like a very good movie in a very film nerd kind of way.
