Harry Kane had a brace today, scoring two goals in Tottenham Hotspur’s 4-2 win over Olympiacos at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The win sends Spurs through to the Champions League Round of 16, qualifying along with Bayern Munich out of Group B and making the final match against Bayern at the new stadium a dead-rubber match.
But Kane also did something else today. By virtue of scoring two goals, he became the fastest-ever player to score 20 Champions League goals in their career.
4-2 to Spurs and @HKane becomes the quickest player ever to score their first 20 Champions League goals. He’s done it in 24 matches, beating Del Piero who did it in 26 games.

Kane loves scoring Champions League goals and 20 of them in 24 games is pretty out of this world. Kane now stands at 177 total goals, 31 behind Bobby Smith for second on the all-time goal scorer’s list. At this rate, who knows — he might even catch Smith yet this season!
