Tottenham Hotspur have scored a huge away win against Wolves thanks to the clutch forehead of Jan Vertonghen. The big Belgian got on the end of a corner kick in second half stoppage time to give Spurs a humongous win to leapfrog Wolves in the Premier League table.

It was Christian Eriksen, who had just come on in the 88th minute as the team’s first substitute who played in the decisive ball. The cross found an inexplicably unmarked Vertonghen for the well-placed header that found its way past Rui Patricio for the winner. It wasn’t the prettiest of goals, but a very big one for Spurs’ season and challenge for the top four.
