I think I’ll have milk and cookies tonight, and I’m pretty excited about that.
Ramble of the Day
Speaking of classic food combinations, a Hoddler recommended a thread of banging food pairings over the weekend. I didn’t expect anything of it — though I should’ve known better — nor did I expect to spend a lot of time with it. There are a ton of normal entries here, but I quickly found out that ... I was shocked by a lot of them.

It starts here, and I’m confused. I hope this person means brushing your teeth and then having water, but if that’s not true, I don’t think I want to know.
A general comment I want to make: cucumbers suck, and adding some salt isn’t going to change that too much.
Grapes also suck, and this does not sound appetizing at all.
Baked beans is on the list of foods made in my elementary school cafeteria that scarred me, so I’m going to need someone to explain to me the appeal of that in general. Mixing it with mayonnaise (which I love) sounds completely unappetizing, and this might be the worst combination I’ve seen.
I know rice is a blank canvas, but please don’t do this. Please.
I’ll end things with this, not only because I somehow got to the bottom of the thread, but also because this person has terrible judgment. Avocados are quite versatile and very satisfying to name only a few benefits, an overall very valuable fruit.
tl;dr: I am very skeptical of these “banging” food combinations.
