A tired rambler

Hello, all!

In case you wanted to know, I very much support getting pictures of your dogs with Santa.

Ramble of the Day

It’s 9:22p on a Sunday night, and tonight would’ve been a good night to complain about crossover events, except I already did that. I was reminded because I saw a tweet about a five episode crossover event (!) right before I started this ramble, which is the only reason why I brought it up (and that I did complain about it lightly just a couple of hours ago).

It’s that I’ve run out of ramble topics; I have an entire page of a Google doc full of them. Alas, none of them involve little effort. I’m not just tired late(-ish) on a Sunday night, I’m also not feeling very well (and that’s why I’m tired, having used up most of my energy in the afternoon and evening working through Christmas shopping). I had to take a break while writing the last sentence because a sneeze knocked the wind out of me for a moment there.

I truly don’t want to subject you all to this ever-evolving, but mostly boring cold of mine that’s now entering its second week. Again, though; I am truly exhausted of it, and it’s all that’s on my mind. So far, I have not been able to distract myself with a Netflix baking competition show that’s on my television as I write this. I have to do the Hoddle now, and there’s only one thing on the brain; unfortunate combination of timing (and possibly poor planning). If I’d done this earlier or later, there might be something else on my mind, but I’m here now, and we’re all stuck (because I really don’t want to do this later).

I feel like jotting some of this down has already made me feel a little bit better, though, and it only took 12 minutes, it turns out. I already feel some more energy — not the way this person enthusiastically said it, but it’s there. Just a little, though.

tl;dr: I’m exhausted (and I’m blaming the cold I have)!
