We know that one of the upcoming two test events at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will involve a Spurs U18 match on March 24. Now we know the other event, too. According to the Evening Standard, a second, larger test event will take place on March 30 featuring an exhibition match between Tottenham Legends and Inter Milan Legends.

Attendance for the Legends match will be capped at 45,000 fans, still a pretty sizable number and significantly more than what White Hart Lane could accommodate at full capacity. You may recall that Spurs had lined up a Legends match the first time the test events were announced in the fall — that time they had arranged it with Bayern Munich Legends.

It’s not clear what former pros will be involved in the match, but the Standard notes that Inter’s side could feature players such as Francesco Toldo, Javier Zanetti, Marco Materazzi, Youri Djorkaeff and Hernan Crespo. The Spurs side will likely feature a number of recognizable names such as Darren Anderton, Ledley King, Chris Waddle, and Teddy Sheringham, and I expect they’ll pull out the stops as it’s one of the first opportunities to play in the new ground. Hell, maybe they’ll get Jermain Jenas, too.

Tickets will no doubt be at a premium; the club has instituted a ticket lottery open to current season ticket holders. If you’re lucky enough to get a ticket, don’t expect scintillating football, but that’s not the point — you’ll be one of the first inside Spurs’ new stadiums and the club will use it to kick the tires.
