The second of two scheduled test events ahead of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium debut will feature a Spurs Legends match against Inter Milan Legends. This event, which promises to bring back a number of retired former Tottenham players against similar stars from Inter, will be played on Saturday, March 30 in front of 45,000 Spurs fans. It’s the last hurdle before what will be undoubtedly a sold-out match of 62k against Crystal Palace on April 3.
Spurs had released a few of the names who were confirmed to be participating last week, but now we know a little more about who will be suiting up. And there are some big names involved. Tottenham confirmed on their website today that German international and former USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann will be returning to Tottenham for the match, as well as Teemu Tainio, Micky Hazard, Paul Stalteri, Nayim, and Mark Falco.
@J_Klinsmann is among the latest group of players to join our Spurs Legends squad for the upcoming game against @Inter Forever at our new stadium! #SpursNewStadium ⚪️ #COYS
