There’s been a heck of a lot of circumstantial evidence coming out over the past few days that suggests that Tottenham Hotspur are going to debut their new stadium in early April. Everything from job postings for the hospitality and food staff, to articles hinting that the test events are scheduled, and mandates from UEFA and the Premier League.
But if this video, posted on Twitter, isn’t a gosh-danged sign, then nothing is. Put it on full screen and crank up the volume.
It’s coming... imagine the roar at the end of this video pic.twitter.com/40Nh7SFxBl

I am one of those people who thinks that the Champions League theme music is kind of ridiculous. I’ve never liked it. It’s kind of saccharine, and the multiple languages are weird. But holy moly, it sure does make the heart swell, doesn’t it? You don’t have to know what the rest of the lyrics are to know to belt THE CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMPIOOOOOOOOOOONS at the top of your voice at the end.
Now imagine doing that in person at Tottenham’s new ground for a Champions League quarterfinal in April.
I might have cried real tears watching that video.
