The 2018-19 Premier League season is in the bag, with Manchester City holding off Liverpool to pip them to the Sky Blues’ second consecutive Premier League title. Now that the dust has settled on the season, I thought it’d be fun to look back on our predictions that we made back in August.

The Carty Free masthead made their predictions on how the final table would look, and we also let the community take a stab at it as well. And, frankly, we’re all geniuses.

Overall, we all did a pretty good job. The top two were nailed on, and the top six were all pretty close. Everyone whiffed on Fulham and Watford, and while the masthead were higher on Wolverhampton than the commentariat, nobody thought Wolves would make it as high as they did.

But in broad strokes — everyone did pretty good! Pat yourselves on the back! Now, what are this week’s lotto numbers?
