Here we go. The knock-outs of the 2019 Women’s World Cup starts today and this is when things REALLY start getting interesting. No more Thailands or New Zealands, it’s all good teams from here on out. And if you look at the bracket, the bottom half is STACKED, with USA in the same group as Brazil, France, and England. Today though, it’s Germany against a Nigeria team that could still spring a surprise, while Australia will try and slip into the quarterfinals past Norway.

Meanwhile, the Copa America and Gold Cup roll on. USA will face Trinidad & Tobago for the first time since the Soca Warriors knocked USA out of World Cup qualifying in 2017.
