Today the Women’s World Cup Round of 16 really starts heating up with two big matches. England take on a Cameroon side that dramatically qualified with a last-second goal and a third place finish in their group, and then a HUGE match between France and Brazil that feels more like a semifinal than a R16 match.
In the Copa America, it’s a big day for Juan Foyth, Giovani Lo Celso, and Argentina as they face a critical match against Qatar in their third and final group stage match. If they do not win, they will almost certainly crash out in the group stages. Potentially good news for Spurs who are trying to wrap up Lo Celso’s signing, but bad news for Foyth and Lionel Messi. Not so for Davinson Sanchez and Colombia, who lead the group and can wrap things up against Paraguay.
