It took nearly 75 minutes, but Tottenham have their first goal of the Premier League season and it comes from none other than their prized summer signing Tanguy Ndombele. Of course, Spurs broke their transfer record to bring in the highly rated midfielder from Lyon in Ligue 1. The 22-year-old is taking no time at all to prove why he cost the club almost $70 million.
The season opener got off to an inauspicious start with Aston Villa taking an early lead before 10 minutes was even played, but Ndombele’s strike has set up a wild final few minutes.
