Last season wasn’t what Harry Kane would’ve hoped for on a personal level with injuries massively hindering his playing time and effectiveness in the biggest match of his life. With all that behind him and a new slate to work with, Spurs’ talisman has gotten off on the right foot for the new season with a pair of clutch goals to secure his side’s first win of the season.
Kane got his first of the season with just five minutes to play, capitalizing on a fortunate bounce to get a one vs. one chance against Villa’s Tom Heaton, with which he made no mistake:

Just a few minutes later as stoppage time was being announced to the crowd at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the former Golden Boot winner curled in a lovely finish to ensure the full points for his club and to complete the comeback on opening day:

It may have not been the most complete and cohesive performance to start the new campaign, but all anyone will remember is that Harry Kane earned his side the win.
