Done and dusted! Georges-Kevin Nkoudou’s three year stint in London has come to a close. Today, Tottenham Hotspur officially announced the sale of the French winger to Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas on a permanent transfer.
We have reached agreement with Turkish Super Lig side @Besiktas for the transfer of @gknkoudou.

Spurs did not specify the transfer fee but prior reports suggested the fee itself was around €5m, but with a sell-on clause that could be as high as 50%. That means that if Nkoudou does resurrect his career in Turkey, Spurs are set for a secondary windfall if Besiktas sells him elsewhere down the road.
It just never worked out for GK. He was signed to be the young, speedy winger with dribbly skills and a direct attack, a player with high upside that Mauricio Pochettino really wanted. But apart from a few flashes here and there he never really showed his promise. Now he gets a new opportunity in Turkey. Hopefully he’s able to grab the bull by the horns here.
Good luck, GK! We’ll always have Fulham.
