OK, it’s STILL not officially-official, done and dusted, whatever you want to call it, but the BBC’s David Ornstein has weighed in on Tottenham Hotspur’s deal to bring Ryan Sessegnon to north London, and it’s good news and sounds super promising.
Provided agreement finalised between Tottenham & Fulham overnight, Ryan Sessegnon’s medical anticipated for early morning. Key #THFC target and as reported on eve of window opening (https://t.co/PNzbdFpRwb) Poch sees him initially on left wing before dropping back long term #FFC

So there’s a LITTLE bit of a hedge there in the “provided agreement finalized” part, but only a little. I feel pretty good that we’re going to get confirmation of a Ryan Sessegnon medical tomorrow morning at some point, and that there will be at least two “We are delighted to announce” tweets.
It will be interesting to see how Sessegnon fits in at Spurs next season, especially since it appears he’ll be playing on the left side of midfield at first. Spurs are, uh, kinda loaded there now, but he’ll get minutes and will certainly be a solid rotation option.
Should you take this rumor to the bank and start celebrating? Not if you’re incredibly superstitious, and I know a lot of you are. The rest of us are already walking around with big-ass smiles on our faces.
