Nice right back Youcef Atal has been linked — at least in the minds of savvy Spurs fans — to Tottenham Hotspur for a while now, but there haven’t been any serious reports that he’s actually on the transfer market. The African Cup of Nations winner and Algerian native was seen as an ideal right back candidate for Spurs after they sold Kieran Trippier and especially after the injury to Juan Foyth.
However, don’t expect any forthcoming announcements about him coming to North London today. His Nice club manager, Patrick Viera, has poured cold water on any potential move, saying that there’s no chance he’s leaving France for London.
OGC Nice manager Patrick Vieira in today's press conference on the futures of Youcef Atal & Malang Sarr: "These are players who will not be leaving."

I can’t see Spurs making any last-gasp moves for right backs unless the rumors of Serge Aurier heading back to PSG actually come to fruition. That means, basically, that despite being very high on some Spurs fans’ wish list, Youcef won’t be moving... Atal.
Thank you, try the veal.
