This will be quick, since news is breaking and also my heart. There are reports emerging on Twitter that Danny Rose has become a late target for Watford before the close of the transfer window.
I don’t know what to do with my hands. I know I want to punch something.
There are conflicting reports. Here’s one from a Daily Mail journalist saying that Watford are showing interest.

There’s also a conflicting report form the Mirror saying that Watford has made a bid for Danny, but that Spurs have rejected it.

We know that Danny was left behind during Spurs’ preseason tour to Asia to look for a new club, but it sure looked like he was set to stay. With literally one hour to go in the window, selling Rose, currently Tottenham’s best fullback, would make literally zero sense, so I’m hoping the Lewis tweet is accurate and they’re going to beat back any interest from other Premier League clubs.
Danny Rose is my favorite player at Spurs. Please don’t sell him. Otherwise I will cry. And rage. And cry again.
